Spending Our Grants

Grantees must match the grant dollars they receive in the form of

• Cash donations.
• Material, goods or supplies donated in-kind for the project.
• Donated services, and volunteer hours, which are valued at $15/hour.

1. Keeping track of each instance of income or expenses, including any receipts.
2. Accounting for your volunteers’ time; it’s worth $15/hour towards your matching funds.
3. Taking pictures as you go through the planning and execution of your project.
4. Making notes on any comments you hear, or experiences that really resonate with residents.
5. Informing your teammates of progress and any concerns that surface as you pursue the project.
