City of Cleveland Land Bank is Now Open for Applications

The City of Cleveland Land Bank has reopened for applications and will remain open until November 20, 2026. It may close sooner if a high volume of applications is received.

Several options for leasing or licensing land bank lots for greening and greenspace projects are listed under Nature Based Solutions including Market Gardens, Community Gardens, Nature Based Solutions, Neighborhood Stewardship Program and Community Partner Improvements and Interim Uses. All of these Nature Based Solutions options, along with their terms and conditions, are described HERE. 

For all projects, the land bank application portal is available HERE.  

Any nature-based solutions project, including gardening and greening projects, must include a simple site plan. The City has provided an example of a simple site plan HERE.
