The 1:1
One-on-ones are a way to have a brief, structured conversation that will uncover the passions, gifts, talents, leadership, hopes, and connections to place that a single individual in a community has.
The 1:1 is a good way to prepare the soil for deeper connections, to listen to the stories and hear what’s important to people and place, to build trust, and surface existing leaders and networks within the community.
We close triangles when we meet with individuals that our 1:1 partner commends to us, building our connections and insights into the community and how it works.
One-on-ones are typically held by initial network organizers with community members, the leaders they identify and other members of their affinity groups or associations.
