We are excited to announce that Taryn Gress has joined Neighborhood Connections as the Network Manager for Community Weaving. We are excited to have Taryn join our team.

Taryn was previously with the National Initiative on Mixed-Income Communities at Case Western Reserve University for 10 years as the Strategic Director. There she provided strategic direction for the impact research center, promoting more equitable and inclusive communities with housing as a platform. She also led project management on research, evaluation, and community network building initiatives in Cleveland, across the U.S. and in Canada.

Most recently, she worked with neighbors, University Settlement, and Slavic Village Development in the North Broadway neighborhood of Slavic Village, and with residents and stakeholders of the Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Authority’s mixed-income transformation at Woodhill Homes in the Buckeye-Woodhill neighborhood.

Taryn is particularly passionate about equity and inclusion in education and is involved with these initiatives in the Berea City School District. Gress holds a Bachelor of Arts from the College of Wooster and a Master of Science in Social Administration from Case Western Reserve University.

Join me in welcoming Taryn!
