Designed to help more people build their own earnings, particularly those who may find challenges with employment, the microloans will provide more than just finances – they will also bring entrepreneurs into a network of people who can provide support in a range of ways, from legal advice to help with marketing services, bookkeeping and business planning.   • Networking and mentor support.
  • Business planning and marketing help.
  • Legal, tax, and financial advice.
  • Loan process.
  • Meet with team to learn about program.
  • Work with mentor to prepare business plan and loan application.
  • One-on-one and small group support.
  • Complete 12 monthly payments.

Music Incubator Microloans We are working with the team at Cleveland Rocks to offer microloans of up to $2,000 to Northeast Ohio musicians and music professionals. Find out more and apply here.

West Park Entrepreneurs We are working with a team of parishioners and community members at Blessed Trinity Parish to offer microloans for grassroots entrepreneurs who want to start or grow businesses in the West Park area.

Microloans are small, very low interest rate loans with manageable monthly payments and a simple, accessible application process. They’re designed to help people build wealth, particularly those who may find challenges with employment.

Neighbor Up provides more than just finances. Our program brings entrepreneurs into a network of people who can provide support in a range of ways, from legal advice to help with marketing services, bookkeeping and business planning.

We have two microloan funds right now:

  1. Musicians and music professionals We are working with the team at Cleveland Rocks to offer microloans of up to $2,000 to Northeast Ohio musicians and music professionals. Find out more and apply at https://clevelandrocksppf.org/music-incubator-program/
  2. Entrepreneurs in West Park We are  working with a team of parishioners and community members at Blessed Trinity Parish to offer microloans for grassroots entrepreneurs who want to start or grow businesses in the West Park area.

Loan process

  1. Meet with team to learn about program.
  2. Work with a mentor to prepare business plan and loan application.
  3. Attend support meetings twice per month.
  4. Continue working one-on-one with mentor.
  5. Complete 12 monthly payments.
