Thank you for another great year of Arts and Culture Network Night. We are pleased to have hosted six virtual events in 2021. These virtual events provided a space to stay connected with each other and the arts in a challenging year. Being online pushed us to craft new avenues for connection. The public agenda helps us navigate the online platform, and “What’s Lifting You Up” gives us a chance to further incorporate arts and culture into the discussion.
Business of the Network
Business of the Network participants explore conversations that are important to them during breakout conversations.
- What resources or tools would help you improve accessibility for people with disabilities at your arts event, organization or community space? (Meg)
- How can we better connect emerging artists to available resources? (Keith)
- When we have resources, and when we don’t, what keeps us from acting on our passions (Bri)
- How do we bridge the gap between leaders of different generations? (Charisse)
The Marketplace
We believe that everyone has something to offer and our community is stronger when everyone is able to contribute. The Marketplace provides a space to see this in action.
Here are just a few opportunities the emerged during the marketplace:
- Call for Artists: We Wear the Mask
- Gerogio is looking for software developers.
- Black Local Artists of Cleveland Kuumba (BLACK) is accepting submissions
- Stephanie offered to help folks make their organizations or events more accessible for people with disabilities.
