Healing Spaces

Healing Spaces is a project designed to amplify the healing spaces that exist in our communities and showcase the power of people to transform their neighborhoods.

The project is guided by a storytelling team of Cleveland Documenters, Courtney Green, Kevin Naughton and Teela Patterson, and also includes Black Girl Media, WOVU and the entire Cleveland Documenters network.

This summer Cleveland Documenters interviewed 19 people across the city about their favorite healing spaces as part of the Healing Spaces environmental justice reporting project. Read their interviews here.

Check out the videos, photos and interviews exploring Cleveland residents’ connection with the environment in their communities.
