After the application is submitted, it goes to the Grant Making Committee. The committee is made up of Cleveland and East Cleveland residents. They review each application and determine which applicants to interview.
Interviews are hosted at convenient locations in Cleveland and East Cleveland neighborhoods. Interviews are 20-minute conversations and groups will have time to talk more about their idea with committee members.
Groups will be notified about the committee’s decision about 3 weeks after their interview.
Groups that receive a grant should attend an orientation session to fill out necessary paperwork.
One year after receiving a Neighbor Up Action Grant, project leaders should complete a report on their work.
Hosted by Neighbor Up member Carol Malone, the “Neighbor Up Spotlight” podcast shines a spotlight on unsung heroes making positive change in their communities. Find it on iTunes and SoundCloud.
