Case Western Reserve University’s Social Justice Institute is excited to be co-hosting an exciting concert and film screening! The MYCincinnati Ambassador Ensemble, a radical youth septet committed to social justice and collective action through experimental performances and collaborations, will perform a free concert and screen a documentary film about the group’s work.

The event will feature music composed and led by MYCincinnati Director Eddy Kwon.

The Social Justice Institute will moderate a discussion with the student ensemble after the performance, followed by a reception.

MYCincinnati (Music for Youth in Cincinnati) is a free youth orchestra program in the Cincinnati area, inspired by the international El Sistema program, which creates great musicians and dramatically changes the life trajectory of hundreds of thousands of the world’s neediest kids. (Shout out to Rainey Institute, which offers an El Sistema program right here in Cleveland!)

The concert is free, but registration is required. Click here for tickets!
