The second exhibition in Focus Gallery, Tantra in Buddhist Art presents the concept and characteristics of Tantra, a system of esoteric techniques used for attaining enlightenment in the Buddhist context. Through twenty works ranging from the seventh to the 17th centuries from across Asia, Tantra in Buddhist Art will introduce key elements of tantric art and show how it was used to reach the Buddhist spiritual goal of enlightenment and bring an end to suffering in the world.
