Eleanor Squire Library/Cleveland Botanical Garden

In one week will be the annual print and book sale two weeks before Christmas. Of course, THE place to buy a beautiful gift! I think we have the best selection this year. The sale is in the midst of our beautiful GLOW show, so free admission only to Garden members. See the attachment for the hours. But here are some highlights:

-only place on earth that has the personal library of Viktor Schreckengost!
-1788 large herb prints
-1880’s orchid prints
-early 20th century art prints (landscapes, horses, Chinese art, etcs)
-rare books with fold out maps (one dates 1744!)
-rare baseball cards
-1st edition of Silent Spring, signed by Rachel Carson!
-WWI and WWII maps and newspapers
-rare seed catalogs
-Tarzan books
-rare art books (really rare!)
-rare Civil War Harper’s Weekly newspapers

And that is just what I can think of. Remember, any item over $50 can be put in layaway for up to a year with no interest with 20% down. And no tax on cash!
