This presentation will include opportunities to connect residents to neighborhood composting using existing community assets, particularly community gardens. Anna Jurs, EcoVillage and Gordon SQ. Market Coordinator with Detroit Shoreway Community Development Organization, will discuss the Cleveland Bike Composting Project from inception to current status and what impacts the project can have on community vitality. Ohio State University Extension Program Coordinators, Jim Thompson and Nicole Wright, will talk about community gardens, current composting practices and the opportunities to engage residents with waste management.
As well for all of those who own a business there will be information about zero waste lip tints and how this will benefit the planet and your business to be more sustainable.
