East Cleveland residents are invited to the East Cleveland Citywide Democratic public meeting on April 10, 2014 at Candlewood Park Healthcare.
This meeting is the first of its kind, bringing together representatives from the East Cleveland’s city government, school board and the library board to discuss the direction of city’s future direction and what the residents can do to ensure this direction will lead to the overall success of the city.
Councilman Nathaniel Martin encourages all of the residents in East Cleveland to attend this meeting and bring with them their ideas. He encourages the participation of both the residents and civic leaders of the city to work together in what he describes as a “partnership for success”.
“This type of forum has never been attempted before and this discussion is vital so that the City of East Cleveland can move forward with a unified plan of action that will bring about positive and lasting change. This meeting will not be a time for finger pointing or complaining, it is a time to find real solutions that are needed to turn this city around.”
